ACCOMMODATIONS

Located in Jackson, California … central to the California Gold Country is a grand retreat center, tucked away on five-wooded acreage.  Havenwood Retreat Center, formerly a charming Victorian B&B, provides quiet, relaxful, and inspiring setting.

Havenwood Retreat has two guest rooms open to the public, Wedgewood Cameo and Country Pine!  Both have a private bath, are lavishly furnished with antiques, air conditioning, wood burning stoves; one room feature balconies and a large Jacuzzi whirlpool!

Wedgewood Cameo:
The Cameo room contains a collection of cameos gathered by the previous owners while traveling throughout the USA.  It features a queen size bed with antique headboard with a handmade quilt and a working potbelly stove that creates a warm and inviting ambiance in the winter.  An antique cabinet with sink sits right outside of the bathroom and private deck looks out on the expansive yard.  The private bathroom features an oversized Jacuzzi bathtub with shower and an antique pull chain toilet.

Country Pine:
What you first see when you enter the Pine Room is the green Victorian wallpaper and a fabulous doll collection.  The room contains a beautiful antique pine armoire alongside the white rod iron queen size bed.  A comfortable glider chair is on the other side of the bed is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a good book.  The windows face south, looking out on the front gardens and the private bath contains a bathtub/shower.

Granny’s Attic:
Granny’s Attic is currently occupied full time.

Additionally, Havenwood is about a 1½ hour drive SE of Sacramento and 2½ hours SW of South Lake Tahoe. From the retreat center, it is another 2½ hours to Yosemite, Sequoia National Forest, and San Francisco.
