GROUNDS

Situated on 5 acres of oaks and pines, Havenwood Retreat is nestled amongst the trees yet has a view of Mt. Zion to the east.  The Beltzs chose the location to provide seclusion, privacy, and a wonderful place for guests to relax, yet within a short drive of wine tating, excellent dining, shopping, and sightseeing.

Walking paths lead through the rose arbor to a spectacular bell-roofed gazebo that sits in the terraced English style country gardens.  For guest usage there are hammocks, a yoga deck, and horseshoes.  To protect the rose bushes, our vegetable gardens, and other vegetation from the voracious appetites of our local deer, there is a fence surrounding the entire property with a fully automatic, code-entry gate to provide additional security.
